In 1774, Michel Adam, perfumer and glove-maker from Versailles, opened a boutique in Paris which he named “À la Reine des Fleurs”. The success was immediate, particularly with the Court of King Louis XVI. That same year, he created his first Eau de Cologne, named after the boutique: “Eau de Cologne de la Reine des Fleurs”. Adopted by Marie-Antoinette, it quickly became a staple at court. The formula was revisited in 1874, on the centenary of the Maison, and has been preserved and offered to this day.

Conseils d'usage
Our Colognes are best enjoyed through gentle friction. Pour a few drops into the palms of your hands, then apply with light massages on the nape, chest, arms, or even the hair. This traditional gesture provides a pleasant sensation of freshness, subtly awakens the senses, and has both a fragrant and toning effect. It ideally prepares the skin for fragrance and pairs perfectly with the use of Eau de parfum.
Our Expertise
- An Ancient and Unique Formula
This precious knowledge was passed down to us by the illustrious Louis-Toussaint Piver, who, in his relentless quest for excellence, developed a unique manufacturing formula — a closely guarded secret of the house, unmatched to this day. - Drawer Maturation Process
Each fragrance, composed of over 100 natural ingredients, matures slowly over 3 to 4 months using our artisanal drawer maturation technique. This traditional process allows the ingredients to blend harmoniously, creating fragrances with remarkable depth and perfect stability.
Committed to sustainable perfumery, we limit the use of solvents and prioritize natural raw materials, sourced primarily from Grasse and Italy.

In my early days, so sweet,
Harmony made my fame complete.
Its gentle song, my life did guide,
A joy I carried deep inside.
To troubadours I gave my grace,
Red blossoms offered in their place.
For love’s own bards, in nightly hours,
I crowned their songs with fragrant flowers.
Fair maidens, may your hands always
Unite the garden’s floral praise,
With verses blooming bright and free—
The flower of poetry.
