Rêve d’Or was created during the 1889 Exposition Universelle, the same year as the construction of the Eiffel Tower!
The name Rêve d’Or references a Canadian waltz song written in 1915, which won first prize in the Melody Competition.
The 1925 bottle was designed by the pioneers of Art Deco, Süe & Mare.
Rêve d’Or was the first fragrance to incorporate aldehydes, thanks to perfumer Georges Darzens.
