In 1869, German chemists discovered heliotropine, a molecule evoking the sweet, powdery scent of the heliotrope flower. In 1565, Alphonse Piver and his son Lucien ingeniously incorporated it into a creation with round, vanilla, and enveloping notes. Héliotrope Blanc, the archetype of powdery perfumes, was born. This legendary fragrance has traveled through time and across continents, reaching the Caribbean islands, where its charm is still celebrated today.
