Recent archaeological discoveries in Pompeii inspired Jacques Rouché, the artistic director of the Maison, and perfumer Georges Darzens to create a fragrance capturing the timeless aura of this ancient Roman city.

Pompeii, at the foot of Mount Vesuvius — a prosperous city known for its exports of olive oil, as well as rose, myrtle, and iris. Roman women, perfumed and elegant, strolled through streets lined with sumptuous villas… this world of beauty and refinement shaped the essence of the fragrance.

2. Drawer Maturation Process
   Each fragrance, composed of over 100 natural ingredients, matures slowly over 3 to 4 months using our artisanal drawer maturation technique. This traditional process allows the ingredients to blend harmoniously, creating fragrances with remarkable depth and perfect stability.
   Committed to sustainable perfumery, we limit the use of solvents and prioritize natural raw materials, sourced primarily from Grasse and Italy.
