Between 1774 and 1852, the L.T. Piver Maison would continue to evolve under different political regimes: monarchy, The First Empire, restoration and The Second Empire.
“L’Eau de Cologne des Princes” bears witness to the attachment of the LT Piver Maison for the reigning aristocracy. According to legend, Napoleon 1st would liberally use the Eau de Cologne, to the point at which he would even soak sugar cubes in the fragrance that he would then enjoy savouring.
